Arizona Photo & Video is the new name we chose when we moved our business to Flagstaff in 1996 after five years in business on the beautiful island of Guam.
What had been a keen interest in photography while we had been travelling in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the U.S became more like a passion. While living on Guam and teaching scuba-diving I became an avid underwater photographer. To pay for the expensive equipment, I soon started taking underwater portraits and video of tourist-divers. Some of my underwater portraits and marine-life shots appeared in magazines and advertising in Japan, Korea, Australia and Guam.I soon branched into environmental portraiture using the many beauty spots available on Guam.
By this time I had taken courses in photography at University of Guam and through New York Institute of Photography. Then I was lucky enough to meet a very accomplished Wedding Photographer called Jean Mondeau who taught me the fine points of Wedding and Event Photography. Soon, with the help of my wife, Mary, we were photographing and video-recording weddings on most weekends. Since then I have photographed and videoed hundreds of weddings from small intimate affairs to elaborate "society" weddings. I have shot them everywhere from deep underwater to high on the rim of the Grand Canyon
